The North Georgia Life Podcast this season featured Rodney Miller, co-owner of Buford Corn Maze.

Originally from southern Illinois where he grew up on a farm, Rodney dreamed of one day starting an agritourism venue to promote farming. Life lead him to the perfect opportunity in Buford, Ga.

In the midst of a heavily developed area at the intersection of Friendship Road and Bennett Road, Rodney discovered 35 acres from a former family farm dating back to the early 1800s. After working out an agreement with the owner, Rodney and his wife, Kendra, reached out to close friends Tina and Jerome Beggs, to help start and operate the maze. Together, they grew the business from a “broken-down pick-up and tent” to become one of the most popular corn maze entertainment venues in the state.
